Measuring a light fitting requires a different technique than measuring an ordinary piece of furniture. Please take great detail when doing this or call us to confirm the dimensions displayed on our site.
The width and the height of the fitting is what you have to pay most attention to. Light fittings are always measured at their widest point. For example when measuring the height of a chandelier we do not include the length of the chain. The measurement displayed is from the top of the chandelier right to the bottom of a crystal sconce.
If you have a square shaped flush fitting and you want to know the diameter (width). Please note it has been measured diagonally from one corner to the bottom corner as this is the widest point, not directly across the middle. If you need any help please feel free to call us.
